Alder wood grilling planks. Set includes two planks approximately 7 x 10 x 3/8. Alder grilling planks have a delicate flavor with a hint of sweetness. Traditionally used in the Pacific Northwest to smoke salmon. Good with beef, fish, pork, poultry and light-meat game birds. Soak plank underwater for at least one hour. Heat grill to 350 degrees, add soaked plank to grill rack, close cover, heat 4 minutes and flip grilling plank. Add food to the heated plank, close cover. Cook until done, no turning or flipping necessary. Enjoy super-moist, seafood, meats or vegetables with a rich all natural smoky flavor!
